Thames Water told to improve

Westminster City Council has issued an official ‘improvement notice' to Thames Water, the UK and London's main supplier.

The notice was served after the council judged Thames had ‘failed to provide a basic minimum standard of service' in central London. The South East England Regional Assembly planning committee has also called for an urgent action plan to mange water use.
