Conservative-run Barnet LBC has confirmed it will leave the Local Government Association (LGA) tomorrow in a bid to make savings.

Conservative-run Barnet LBC has confirmed it will leave the Local Government Association (LGA) tomorrow in a bid to make savings.

The decision was made as part of the council's medium-term financial strategy, which includes a target to save £400,000 in membership and subscription costs for 2016/17.
