Conservative-led councils charge around one-third more for local parking than their political opponents, claims Labour Party.

Conservative-led councils charge around one-third more for local parking than their political opponents, according to research by the Labour Party.

Data obtained following Freedom of Information requests by the Labour Party suggests Conservative councils are on average charging the equivalent of almost £43 per local household each year, compared with Labour's £29.69.
