Tower Hamlets in judicial review against Pickles

Under-fire Tower Hamlets LBC has applied for a judicial review against communities secretary Eric Pickles’ decision to send in inspectors.

Under-fire Tower Hamlets LBC has applied for a judicial review against communities secretary Eric Pickles' decision to send in inspectors following a Panorama probe.

The shock counter attack came a day after Mr Pickles accused the council of attempting to stall an investigation into its management.
