Tower Hamlets LBC's returning officer has pledged to ‘learn the lessons' from the problem-hit May elections.

John Williams welcomed yesterday's report from the Electoral Commission, which highlighted the lengthy election counts and ‘unacceptable campaigner behaviour'.
