An expert in healthcare exports has joined the team of overseas trade advisers at East of England International, which delivers UK Trade & Investment services in the EEDA region.

Richard Perry, who lives in Hertfordshire, brings a wealth of international trade expertise to the post. He spent 14 years with AstraZeneca working in marketing, sales, business development and corporate affairs. In that time he managed business teams in emerging markets in Latin America, the Caribbean and Eastern Europe, including two years in Prague. More recently he spent three years in India where he co-founded a pharmaceutical and healthcare consultancy for British companies interested in trading there. Noel Harvey has joined the team of international trade advisers with East of England International in Hertfordshire. Mr Harvey has more than 20 years sales experience from the machine tool industry under his belt, mostly gained in the hi-tech sector. More recently, He also spent 14 months working for PERA as an International Secondments Adviser helping SMEs secure grant funding for international technology transfer. Mr Harvey , who is 50 and lives in Barnet, North London, previously managed a company in California.
