Leon Livermore has taken over as chief executive of the Trading Standards Institute.

He assumes his new role as the consumer protection landscape takes on a different complexion and the TSI takes over responsibility for codes of practice from the Office of Fair Trading through the new Consumer Codes Approval Board (CCAB).
