Former care minister Paul Burstow has claimed radical plans to solve the growing crisis in social care are being blocked by the Treasury.

Writing in today's Daily Telegraph, the Liberal Democrat MP who lost his post in the recent reshuffle, said the Treasury has 'no sense of urgency' when it comes to social care funding reform.
