The Department of Communities and Local Government (DCLG) will be asked to find up to a further 40% of savings by 2020, the Treasury has said.

Chief secretary to the Treasury, Greg Hands, has asked DCLG as an unprotected department to model two scenarios of 25% and 40% of savings from its resource budget.
