Adult social care directors have warned the Treasury suppliers could be forced to close amid the lack of funding for increasing employers' National Insurance Contributions (NIC).

The MJ understands that at a round table with the Treasury ahead of the Spending Review directors underlined the risks of suppliers handing back contracts.
