Few, if any, local government leaders could fill out Westminster Abbey for a service of remembrance dedicated to their lives – but then Sir Simon Milton was no ordinary local politician.

The moving ceremony on Monday October 31 at Westminster Abbey to celebrate the life of Sir Simon Milton was a reminder of how much local and national politics has lost from his untimely death last April.
