The NHS is collapsing, the train network is dysfunctional, social care has virtually ceased to exist, schools are falling apart, councils are so strapped for cash they rely on parking fines and iffy property deals for income, there are more potholes than roads and public sector workers are on rock bottom wages forcing them into food banks.
