Three more councils have come out against the Government's flagship HS2 plans.

Stafford BC has joined the 51m group of local authorities, campaigning against the high speed rail plans, and the leaders of Wakefield and Bradford MBC have also voiced opposition to the proposals. 'Without investment in regional infrastructure at the same time you have to question whether it will develop the economy,' said Bradford leader, Cllr David Green.
