Veteran Labour MP, Michael Meacher, has warned that the possible collapse of the Southern Cross Healthcare Group would have ‘huge implications' for outsourcing.

The MP for Oldham West and Royston said the collapse of the group, which looks after 31,000 residents, could happen ‘any day now', and would ‘expose the brutal logic of profit-driven private services'.
