Truss backs fiscal devolution

Chief secretary to the Treasury, Liz Truss, has given her backing to further fiscal devolution.

Chief secretary to the Treasury, Liz Truss, has given her backing to further fiscal devolution.

Speaking at the District Councils' Network's national conference today, Ms Truss said councils should be given the freedom to raise their own revenue.
