Plans for an integrated social care service in North Somerset have fallen though, after the local heath trust announced it was now looking at other options.

The Weston Area Health Trust (WAHT) announced on 6 November it was no longer planning to join forces with North Somerset Council and North Somerset Community Partnership to create an integrated service, and would instead begin discussions with NHS South of England and the NHS Trust Development Authority.
