Is trust an over-rated word?

Building trust in local government is crucial and Cambridgeshire is radically rethinking its approach to community engagement, says Mark Miller

For more than a decade communication strategies across government and local government have had the words ‘build trust' in big capital letters emblazoned on them.

Viewing recent polls on national politics, or even my Twitter feed, you would be right in thinking that building trust is front and centre in our minds.
