A turf war has literally broken out in Hull after the city council threatened legal action when a pitch was laid at the Airco Arena without the local authority’s permission.

A turf war has literally broken out in Hull after the city council threatened legal action when a pitch was laid at the Airco Arena without the local authority's permission.

Hull City Council has written to the Super-Stadium Management Company, demanding the immediate removal of the 3G pitch, which has been laid without its consent.
