The newly recruited managing director of Anglesey CC has abandoned the post just a week after his appointment was announced.

Wyn Thomas, the current chief executive of Conwy Local Health Board, announced his change of mind on Monday. He was appointed to replace existing managing director Geraint Edwards who retires this summer after seven years.
