Time to turn the tide on data

As the National Audit Office (NAO) release two reports today, it comes to a conclusion that will surprise no one within the sector – there is a risk councils may not have enough cash which in turn would put vital services at risk.

As the National Audit Office (NAO) release two reports today, it comes to a conclusion that will surprise no one within the sector – there is a risk councils may not have enough cash which in turn would put vital services at risk. 

However, the report on new burdens also claimed the DCLG needed to use data and intelligence more in an effort to understand what burdens were being placed on local authorities.
