Union: Whitehall capability endangered by pay decisions

The gap between senior managers’ salaries and the wider economy has grown, senior civil servants have warned.

Ministers are endangering the future capability of Whitehall by refusing to address a ‘widening chasm' between senior managers' salaries and the wider economy, the trade union representing senior civil servants has warned.
