Unions accept 2.5% pay rise offer from COSLA

A 2.5% pay rise will be awarded to Scottish local government staff after trade unions accepted a two year offer from councils.

A 2.5% pay rise will be awarded to Scottish local government staff after trade unions accepted a two year offer from councils.

Employees will receive a 1.5% hike from April 2016 ahead of a further 1% rise in the following 12 months.
