Sandwell MBC has part-privatised its children's services, bringing iMPOWER into the department as part of a £1.2m partnership over 30 months.

The arrangement is thought to be the first time an external company will be integrated into a local children's services department in this way, and will see iMPOWER work alongside frontline staff and service-users – together with its HR partner, Penna.
