A ‘unique model' that procures accommodation for homeless Londoners and those at risk could be expanded as the capital faces a ‘tsunami' of homelessness.

Not-for-profit company Capital Letters, which is collectively owned by the boroughs, now has 17 councils signed up, plans to grow to 25 members over the next couple of years and could be expanded to other parts of the country after improving the availability of housing options and reducing competition between local authorities.
