Unison fights pay cuts

Unison fights pay cuts Unison has strongly rejected threats by Perth and Kinross Council to force cuts in pay and conditions on staff.

The issue surrounds a proposed new equal pay and grading plan and changes to staff terms and conditions. A Unison spokesman said it was ‘unacceptable' to railroad through changes after it has taken six years to reach this stage of negotiation.
