Unison has called on councillors in the Barnet LBC to abandon their ‘One Barnet' programme for the outsourcing of all key public services.

Research for the union by the Association for Public Service Excellence (APSE) concludes that the borough does not have the ability or capacity to manage multiple contracts for the benefit of local residents and has repeatedly ignored council guidelines and UK competition law.
