Shropshire Council to adopt the 'Wiltshire model' of operating without a chief executive following the departure of Kim Ryley.

Shropshire Council looks set to adopt the ‘Wiltshire model' of operating without a chief executive following the departure of previous boss, Kim Ryley, to neighbouring Cheshire East.

Mr Ryley, who had been working with Cheshire East on its improvement programme since Erika Wenzel left, by mutual agreement, on 30 June, has immediately switched authority until his retirement.
