Bromsgrove DC  is pressing for a referendum to give residents the final say on any plans to replace county and district councils with unitaries.

Councillors have unanimously backed a call by council leader, Roger Hollingworth, for either a national or local referendum to take place before any major reorganisation gets the go-ahead.
