More than 16,000 people have taken part in a public consultation to replace the existing two-tier local government structure in Dorset.

More than 16,000 people have taken part in a public consultation to replace the existing two-tier local government structure in Dorset.

The figure represents 2% of the county's 765,700 population, who will be affected by council plans to replace the current model with two unitaries.
