Urgent action called for as housing support fund set to half

New analysis has claimed the national funding pot for discretionary housing payments (DHP) will have dropped by more than 50% over a decade by next year.

New analysis has claimed the national funding pot for discretionary housing payments (DHP) will have drop by more than 50% over a decade by next year.

Findings by London Councils show a 53% drop in real terms from 2014-15 and 2024-25 without further government action and an even bleaker outlook for the capital where the drop will hit 60%.
