An experiment with a heavily plant-based menu at key council events in Cambridge ended with residents sticking two chicken goujon fingers up at the idea.

A report to Cambridge City Council's environment committee revealed that fewer than 10% of guests at a Remembrance Sunday event opted to eat the plant-based menu trialled to promote environmentally-friendly eating and save dosh.
