The chief executive of Warrington BC is to chair a two-day commission next month into whether Chorley BC should become a unitary.

Speaking to The MJ, Chorley BC's project director, Chris Sinnott, said the commission would take evidence from stakeholders and experts in their field about the possible benefits of breaking away from the two-tier structure in Lancashire.
