Bristol's directly elected mayor has led to more visible leadership and a stronger vision for the city, but not everyone is happy, according to a new academic report.
The report, The Impacts of Mayoral Governance in Bristol, which was published yesterday by the University of West England and the University of Bristol, found the post of the directly-elected mayor, which was created in 2012, has helped raise the profile of the city, both around the world and in Whitehall.
