A vital support in rural Lincolnshire

A falls service in Lincolnshire is proving to be a game changing approach that could be used across the country, says Cllr Patricia Bradwell.

Lincolnshire's Falls Response Unit provides a crucial service for many older residents who might find themselves stranded and waiting for help.

This innovative approach ensures a safe health and social care response for Lincolnshire people who have a fall. It involves Lincolnshire Integrated Volunteer Emergency Services (LIVES) first responders being trained and supported to attend adults who fall and then either call for an ambulance or an ambulance is called on their behalf.
