More than 100 charity sub-contractors have warned that the Government's flagship Work Programme risks ‘systemic failure' without the closer involvement of voluntary organisations.

Members of the special-interest group for Work Programme sub-contractors are voicing concerns that the new welfare-to-work initiative could leave many voluntary sector providers financially vulnerable.
