Waltham Forest LBC has named Shifa Mustafa for its new deputy chief executive role within the authority.

Ms Mustafa's future role will include building greater resilience at the highest level of management in the council, allowing her to act as chief executive and assume the incumbent's delegated powers for short periods of planned absence, such as medical or annual leave.
