Council leaders in Coventry and Warwickshire are trying to heal a rift after comments made by Jim Graham, the chief executive of Warwickshire CC, concerning Coventry City Council's role in local growth initiatives were made public.

The controversy was sparked last month when an email Mr Graham sent to Warwickshire CC's cabinet, which accused Coventry of ‘boundary blindness' in taking government funding ahead of the county, was leaked to local newspapers.
