Watchdog refers Tower Hamlets votes to police

The Electoral Commission has referred allegations of postal voting fraud within Tower Hamlets LBC to the Metropolitan Police.

The Electoral Commission has referred allegations of postal voting fraud within Tower Hamlets LBC to the Metropolitan Police.

The watchdog confirmed yesterday it had received allegations of fraud in the east London borough and now passed the matter onto the police.
