After two decades of talking about the potential of Intermediate Care but struggling to give it wings, the landscape has changed, quickly and dramatically. The pandemic has truly proved to be a lightbulb moment for it. Over the last year, the benefits of Intermediate Care have been proved beyond question, and for the first time, there is now unanimity across the sector on its strategic importance.
