Charity bosses have welcomed the chancellor's plans to reform Gift Aid, but warned that more still needed to be done to protect them from massive public sector cuts.

George Osborne promised to simplify the Gift Aid scheme last week, as part of his Budget speech, with a new online system for charities to claim payments by 2013.
