The Wales Audit Office (WAO) has launched a special investigation into Pembrokeshire CC as the controversy surrounding child protection continues.

The auditor general for Wales, Huw Vaughan Thomas, wrote to Pembrokeshire's chief executive, Bryn Parry-Jones, last week announcing a special inspection into the authority's affairs.
