Welsh chief executive to retire

The chief executive of Rhondda Cynon Taf Council, Steve Merritt, has announced he will retire in October.

The chief executive of Rhondda Cynon Taf Council, Steve Merritt, has announced he will retire in October.

Mr Merritt who took the post up in March 2014, following the retirement of Keith Griffiths, announced his retirement in a letter to staff yesterday.
