Welsh councils face budget pressures of around £559m next year, the sector’s umbrella organisation has said as it identified five priority areas for addressing the crisis.

Welsh councils face budget pressures of around £559m next year, the sector's umbrella organisation has said as it identified five priority areas for addressing the crisis.

The Welsh Local Government Association (WLGA) listed the priorities for addressing the needs of communities as schools and education, social care, housing and homelessness, economic development, and capital investment.
