A commission has today called for the complete overhaul of how councils are funded in Wales.

A commission has today called for the complete overhaul of how councils are funded in Wales.

The final report by the Independent Commission on Local Government Finance in Wales recommended changing current funding formulas and giving local authorities the power to raise a larger share of their income from local levies, including a tourism tax.
