Welsh Assembly intervention has not helped the Isle of Anglesey CC’s difficulty with service delivery, the Auditor General says.

Intervention by the Welsh Assembly has not assisted the Isle of Anglesey CC's difficulty with service delivery, the Auditor General has concluded in a damning report.

The corporate governance re-inspection report concludes the council will not achieve a full and sustainable recovery by August 2011, and is ‘uncertain' it will be able to do so by the local council elections of May 2012.
