West Dunbarton Council is mulling over staff job cuts as part of new cost-saving plans, in an attempt to close a growing yearly funding gap totalling more than £54m over the next decade to 2028/29.

West Dunbarton Council is mulling over staff job cuts as part of new cost-saving plans, in an attempt to close a growing yearly funding gap totalling more than £54m over the next decade to 2028/29.

Various ‘management adjustments' across the range of council services have ‘an expected impact of reducing the workforce by 45 full-time employees', according to a report this week.
