West Lancashire BC has launched a shake-up of its senior management.

Rather than sharing its chief executive, the council has dispensed with the post entirely and, with effect from this week, Bill Taylor, the current chief executive, will take voluntary redundancy. Mr Taylor has spent 14 years in the top job.
