Westminster press officer among Operation Elveden arrests

A senior media officer employed by Westminster City Council is arrested as part of police investigations into inappropriate payments.

A senior media officer employed by Westminster City Council was one of three people arrested as part of ongoing police investigations into inappropriate payments to public officials – it has emerged.

Greig Box-Turnbull, who worked as a journalist for national newspaper The Daily Mirror until March, was one of three people arrested on Wednesday morning on suspicion of corruption, conspiracy to commit bribery and conspiracy to cause misconduct in a public office.
