Just forget going abroad this year. Put the suncream back in the drawer and accept there's no way the nannies who run this country will ever trust us to get on a plane.

You can queue for six hours at heaving passport control no probs while all them Border staff are on extended lunch breaks but there's no way you can ever lie on a towel on a half empty beach in the open air in case you get a passing whiff of a COVID spore, presumably carried by a seagull.
