A Whitehall report has criticised local government groups for failing to work together on projects aimed at improving social care and cutting bureaucracy.

A Whitehall report has criticised local government groups for failing to work together on projects aimed at improving social care and cutting bureaucracy.

The Cutting Red Tape review into adult social care, which was published yesterday by the Department for Business Innovation and Skills, found a number of different agencies were undertaking work to improve the monitoring of care homes, but there was also little evidence to show how the agencies were working together to achieve these goals.
